Your Top Five Wedding Photography Questions, Answered.
You may have booked your Wedding Venue, and you are now putting together the other elements of what will be required on your Wedding Day. You may be exploring the internet for a Photographer or Videographer? Trying to figure out if you like their work. You are beginning to compile a list of fuelling questions to ask them to make sure they are likely to be the right photographer for you?
With this in mind, I decided to think about the questions that I get asked on a regular basis and give you my top five.
DO YOU DO GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS?
I am a documentary wedding photographer, so the majority of the day will be spent shooting images that tell the story and capture the atmosphere of the day. I regularly shoot between 5-8 group photographs. We will discuss your requirements before the Wedding Date arrives.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING WILL THE PHOTOGRAPHS BE READY?
Your Final edited Photographs will be ready within 2 to 4 weeks following the Wedding, I always aim to deliver them sooner than this if possible.
DOES IT MATTER IF YOU HAVEN’T WORKED AT MY VENUE BEFORE?
Not at all. Every Wedding Venue is personal and individual to each couple, the weather & light can play a big part on your wedding date.
I always aim to visit the Wedding Venue ahead of the Big Day. To view the layout & workout where might be the best locations to use.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH IN COLOUR OR BLACK & WHITE ? DO YOU EDIT ALL THE IMAGES?
All my photographs are captured in colour. It is only in the post-production stages that they might be converted into black & white. On average, usually around half, your final images will be in colour & half in Black & White. I am happy to supply with a full-colour set if required? I also offer a 35mm traditional film option to my digital packages. This can either be colour or black/white film. You pick before the wedding day begins.
HOW MANY IMAGES AM I LIKELY TO RECEIVE?
I have no real set rule as this varies depending on which package you have booked. As a rough guide, you will receive between 250 – 450 images for a typical wedding day & you will be assigned unrestricted rights to print & distribute them as you wish.
